In the face of a global pandemic and grounded travel, we had to quickly pivot away from in-person filming in 2020. Instead, we turned to remote film methods – a series of carefully designed approaches that still reveal true needs and tensions, helping our clients get close to their consumers – from a distance. I created this series of example films to show a range of our methods.

The Neighborhoods Project

The Neighborhoods Project is a content series examining the unique character of New York City neighborhoods, as seen through the eyes of those born and raised in them. Each episode, we speak to locals around the history of their neighborhood, and how they preserve identities in the face of rapid change and gentrification.

In the context of the upcoming Women’s World Cup, this series of films profiles a number of women in sport – from footballers to boxers – discussing themes including media representation, cultural challenges, and the portrayal of women’s sport.

A short film series for Crowd DNA, profiling innovative, disruptive and unique businesses around the world. Each episode profiles a specific business – from a salad delivery service in Brazil, to recycling used coffee beans into fuel in London.
